We use this recipe all the time. With so few ingredients it tastes so good that you just want to eat it all up. We do change it up some we cook it on high for 10 hours. We have our first meal out of this as a roast with a side salad then we shred the rest to serve as pulled pork sandwiches on homemade hamburger rolls. We do it this way because we are a family of two but still love to make large roasts.

“Slow-cooker pork butt roast with delicious smoky taste.”
1 (6 pound) pork butt roast
1 1/2 tablespoons Hawaiian sea salt 1 tablespoon liquid smoke flavoring
- Pierce pork all over with a carving fork. Rub salt then liquid smoke over meat. Place roast in a slow cooker.
- Cover, and cook on Low for 16 to 20 hours, turning once during cooking time.
- Remove meat from slow cooker, and shred, adding drippings as needed to moisten.
